This workshop introduces selecting officials to the competency-based approach to interviewing. Participants will learn the difference between competencies and KSAs and how to develop relevant questions derived from the actual competencies needed to be effective on the job. Participants will develop competency-based questions using DOL job vacancy announcements and participate in structured interviewing role-plays.
